In the religion of ancient Greece, the Olympic gods were the main gods of the Greek pantheon, who dwelt on Mount Olympus (the highest in Greece). Temples as well as civic festivities, artistic and sports activities were consecrated to them, being considered the most important within the broad set of deities of Greek mythology.
